I decided to start building.....
 
I bought 16 - 8' 2x4's for $38.43.

A common 12 pitch is a 45 degree angle

The square is already a 45 degree angle

Trace a line with a pencil

Then cut with a circular saw.

Then hook the long point of angle

Measure 95 inches to your long point; 95'' long to long

then cut...
 
I want 8 of these:

Then cut 4 boards - 47" long to long of 45 degree angle - you can get two out of an 8 footer

measure the bottom of the legs

add 2 inches and cut 8 - 7'' square blocks

they will be screwed to the bottom of the legs so that the frame doesn't sink

My progress has declined. It would have worked, but, I need a smaller base to fit the bed size. I had to make it a 15 pitch, so I had to cut everything all over again. I finally got my pattern right.....

i'll have to make a trellis for sure, probably using 2X2's and 4 inch netting. I'll also be using shade cloth to keep water temps down.
