Culinary herbs and peppers

That's sure not the case with common sage (Salvia officinalis).  I should explore the subtler cousins.  Pineapple/pineapple sage/aji pineapple salsa, anyone?

Cilantro. Mostly because in the summer time I make salsas with my tomatoes and peppers and there a lot of tomatoes and chilies in the southwest/Mexican cooking. Sometimes I make my tomato sauce spicy, or make a fra diavolo in which case basil and parsley would  be used.
