D3 Pepper Products

That's an old consistency trick I started to do with beans. Black beans, baked beans... take 1/4 of the beans and mash them like refried and add them back to the pot. Consistency can be multi-step doesn't have to be 100%.

Color ended up more of a baby shit green, too many red peppers in the mix.

One these days I will get the sizing right. I set the canvas to the label size but when I copied image into the avery sheet it was undersized and distorted a little bit when I stretched.

I have found 2 ways th fix that.

1. The print dialogue box usually has an adjustment feature that allows you to move everything up, down, right, left in small increments.

2. Or on a label like that with a solid background, start with the whole 8x10 sheet as your background color. It will eliminate that white line due to misalignment.

That may not be due to the native software settings but printer setup settings. Turn off any scaling or "fit to page" settings, so it prints as is.

it is, I think it was scaling because I was trying to fit a black background image onto the white avery template. we shall see when I print this next batch for the el scorponero sauce, it was for only 4 bottles  so I  didn't spend very much time on this one.

Yes, looks much better and no more fuzzy print.

a  little out of alignment but it was for only 4 bottles. Wasn't going to waste much  time. Gave up on Gimp it's too hard to navigate so did it on paint.net. Only problem is that once you navigate away from a text box you can't move it again short of hitting undo a bunch of times

Looking good. When I have some time. I will mail you a few sheets of those other labels. That way you can try them. There is no way I am going to ever use all of them.

That would be awesome!

Looks good. GIMP sucks! Why don't you get Photoshop in the cloud? It's only $9.99 per month. The benefit of subscription software is, you always have the most recent version and updates.

. I was trying to register for their free trial and they never sent me the confirmation email. Tried several times, not in spam or anything so just gave up
