D3monic's 2015 Glog. Lots of Pods.

I had a great 2014 growing year and can't wait to get started on 2015. Had some issues with overwinters and aphids but I ditched them and nuked the basement. Here is last years Glog link
 
I just went through and cataloged my current seed list. Built up a bit of a collection over the course of the winter.

 Also doing a few Pineapple ground cherry tomato plants. Taste just like tiny pineapples and will be great for a salsa verde with ajis and maybe the bonda ma jacques

I've gotten them warmed up more between the heatmat and a 2 bulb clf fixture (for terrariums) ontop the dome it has them warmed up enough. been germinating much better. Only ones that never germinated was the 7pot yellow but I got some brainstrains that are popping now at around 5 days.. gotta go back and look when I planted  them.  
 
Edit: Correction they hit dirt 10 days ago. That's the downside to a cold basement and one heatmat, can only germ so many in stages. The Xalapas broke soil the other day along with a bunch of scotch bonnets that weren't on a heat mat at all.

Yeah, Annuums will do that. Not too particular to temps as are the scorpions, 7 pots and like. But, give them some temp and they will germ overnight.
 
Lookin good buddy. Is 1/15 your sow date or sprout date? I sowed my first round on 1/22, yours look only slightly bigger than mine so I guess I'm ok. Had a bout of paranoia this morning and posted a few side by sides. They haven't grown much in the week since I transplanted, but after seeing yours I think I'm just getting trigger happy.

Those are sow dates, I didn't think to keep track of sprout dates other than when I post in this thread about a new hook. I think i'm a little behind in growth thanks to the MG. The plants still in it are WAY behind those transplanted into promix. Mine should remain rather short and stocky with the high lighting they are under.

I think growth has slowed for the ones under the Reds of the LEDs, not getting enough blue light wave. Eventually i'll move a T5 fixture down there for them.

I already have several aji limon going but I want to grow the lemon drop as well and see if there is a difference. Hopefully they wasn't just mislabeled. From pics i've seen online the Lemon drop have more a pendulum shape vs the long skinny shape of limon.
 
I guess compared to last weeks pics there is some good growth difference. 
 
No Show from my 7 pot yellows again. This leads me to believe that this may have been one the pods I tried to cross with. I tried crossing 7pot yellow and aji pineapple or limon don't remember. So I went ahead and put a dozen or more on a moist towelette in my pill container and put on the heat mat. 
 
Also trying to germ some aji amarillo I got from  mpicante because the other ones I tried from a different source didn't germ and also some more criolla sella I got from her as well. 
 
The seeds I soaked yesterday just hit some dirt.

I feel that way on my Peach Bhut Jolokia S S my last attempt .
I would be happy if just one plant sprouted and lived!
