Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer. 
 
I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.
 

 
These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

I tried a bite off the tip, wasn't too bad but it's usually like that. Ended up throwing it in dehydrator so didn't taste the rest. Did sdve seeds though.

Picked a few Aji Painapples.  Are these the right color or did I get my seeds messed up and these are actually Lemon Drop x Inca Berrys?

Nope those are right. Kind of a school bus orange is what i'm getting. A little wider than aji pineapples and different shade. 
 

 

 
Getting my first ripe pod on the round pheno of 7pot burgundy x cgn-21500
 
kind of expected red pods. I like this color. hopefully the tail version ends up a similar color

I didn't really like the taste, really funky and musty. 
 

 

 
Did I mention these are brutally hot? Damn powder I made burns all the way down.

They may be premature but I think one the plants is putting out a orange pheno. Haven't settled on a name but something like D3monic lantern or Devils prick.

Hasn't been extremely productive but the baha butch plant is nice and healthy. Got a ferment going from the first batch of pods

Very nice, they are probably the hottest of the crosses I did last year should make a nice sauce later. 
 
First plant doesn't look like i'm going to get many more pods off it and I have another thats loaded that should give me another batch worth. Not sure if I'm going to make a ferment or powder. I ordered some fermenting supplies to give it a try.

To be honest, my first ferment attempts were last year and both spoiled fairly quickly. I'm sure newbie mistakes. I normally pressure can peppers with no seeds and let it sit for years before making a sauce. No issues with that method.

Fingers crossed but I'm 2+ weeks in on this ferment and the smell it gives off is very nice. To answer your question, would love to give it at least 3 months. Will probably only come out to 2-3 bottles but one is yours if you want it and it comes out right.

Looks pretty similar. Most my pods left on the plant are on the runty side. I have another plant with a bunch of large pods getting ready to ripen. Look bumpier too

First up was a Scorpanero.  I ate the bottom third of it.  It has the Chinense aroma but it wasn't overwhelming to me.  It had a nice mouth burn, good flavor and I think it is a real nice pepper overall.   What was the cross?  Red Hab and?
