Well after getting back in the hot scene i just had to place my first order from Defcon after all the good press...

Decisions..Decisions...Ahhh hell lets try all three at once

The sauces were great..all they were cracked up to be and them some. Although I will have to build up my tolerance some before I slather some wings in just Defcon 1.

As for the photos...they're just fine. If you want larger to just post, photobucket works really well.

Pay not attention to TB, dunno what that was about~~~



Photobucket works good for image uploading. You can set it to automatically upload the image to "Large" size, then you don't have to resize every picture you import. I think Josh has a link to a post about that....I'll see if I can find it...

Well they technically are wings TB, yes. Are they my preferred way of cooking them, absolutely not..but when the grill(yes grilled wings, the blasphemy! :) ) is already hot and you want a quick snack it worked! I'll have to redeem myself some other time!

I found the JayT wing thread...very nice indeed!
 
I don't know who that fool TB is that posted that drunken critique. My apologies. It was 'sposed to be funny but what I was trying to say and what I wrote are completely different 'thangs. TB FAIL!:oops::crazy:

I thought they looked good. But thank you Drunken TB. I do believe I have mastered MY Defcon wing recipe now. That's the beauty of wings. They are like sex. When they are good, they are GREAT, and when they are bad, they are still pretty good.
 
I've nearly finished my defcon 1 (wasn't anywhere near as hot asa I thought it would be) and none of it has been anywhere near any wings!!, I don't get the whole wing thing, I like meat but I don't faffing around nibbling tiny bits from bones, not just wings I don't waste time with spare ribs either!!!!!!!

Gotta love the defcon though a really unique flavour, I've never had another hot product that is anything like it, like all other sauces I use it as a condiment as well as adding them to dishes at the cooking stage, tried a defcon cheese omelette for breakfast the other day, delish
 
I used the defcon 1 in a blackberry jam I did the other day

blackberry jam, sweet and sour sauce, defcon 1, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, ketchup

Slathered it on some left over ham from easter, and holy hell was it delicious
 
I knew I never shoulda peeked in here when I'm hungry! And Damn you TB for suggesting to search for JayT's wings! DAMN YOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUU! Do you know how many wings are posted here at THP? Sweet jebus! IT's friday afternoon here and now I gotta have me some wings! I'll probably drink beer with them too. What a slippery slope you've put me on!

I did find them. There are TONS of wing recipes and methods of cooking them here at THP. I went with standard 50/50 mixture of butter to hotsauce then threw in a BP7-Pot pod into the mix. Then put them in the convection oven to cook them up and basted them a couple of times. On a side note peppers grown under fluro's aren't nearly as hot as the ones you grow under actual sun. The 7-Pot was plenty hot though. I can't wait to see how they turn out in this year. The plant is has a pretty good start considering it was started last Augustish and was then overwintered.

And no, I didn't take any picks.
