Slow progress is better than no progress, my friend!

What variety of JA Mushroom? I grew red last season,
and really liked it. This season I will try the yellow variety
from the seed train. Looking forward to see how they
compare.

Seeds are from you :)

Haha, I forgot they actually made it to
Medicine Hat  , Neil! To be truthful,
I've sent out so many envelopes this year,
they all just sort of jumble together

Those red mushrooms are really good, great
flavor, with a little bit of zing. Mine were slow
to ripen last year, so hung the plants in the
garage to ripen up with great success. The
pods were excellent for slicing/eating and
would be good as stuffers. I think.

I decided not to do my Jamaican Mushrooms until the 15th after judging from their growth spurts last year. However your Peach Ghost J. is ahead of mine by 2 solid weeks. Mine are just starting to sprout.

Hey PaulG. Which variety of JA Mushroom did you drop on the A Train?  I was very intrigued by your mushroom last season so grabbed a few seeds.   Do I have the same as DF?  I wouldn't be disappointed either way :)

Tuff it out till I get them outside, thats all I can do qne hope they survive. The plants I had in the basement are all dead from flies and Aphids and are outside in the snow now. I think the temp fluctuations are keeping them form total annihilation. My two habs on the porch look dead, see if they come back later.
Seedlings in the kitchen watching them carefully, saw one bug crawling up a stem and squished it, so hope they last till their outside.
Kung Pao barely hanging on, Tabasco plant might still be alive.

Good luck hanging on there, Neil!
Hope those seedlings make it to
Spring plant-out.

It's not like you live in the best outdoor
growing area in the western hemisphere.
You get credit for being gutsy!
