whispering pines rules! my favorite course in florida so far. some holes are very tight but you can still birdie every hole with a little luck. its all deep in the woods and gives you a awesome hike. ill be making this course my home course.

on a side note floral park was so windy i threw like a complete jerk.

but it was a great day,now i have to get lots of work done over the next couple days so i can go play this weekend.
 
nice! went out throwing at the park the last 2 days after wrk. throwing more consistent and the mamba is a bomber for me little effort long distance, this weekend i am MX riding sat with a bunch of friends and hopefully i am not too sore to play a round or 2 sunday morning
 
The closest DG coarse is in Geneva for me. It's slim pickins here. If things go well, I'll build a nice coarse. Damn I miss home. Austin and surrounding area has some sweet coarses. Hell, just gettting discs is a pain in the azz, and I've lost a few. People refuse to return them, even when I knock on the door.

our annual charity event/chili cookoff was a couple of weeks ago... i had a farmer's market which conflicted so i made a donation but didn't get to play (or make chili- i've won the chili cookoff twice).
 
i just registered for the ice bowl at mission bay feb 24th, playing in the rec division hopefully i am not sandbagging! LOL never played in a tourney so not sure how i will compare to others. gonna be fun, get to see/meet some pros, and watch them play

Tell the TD what you shoot at MB and Morley and they'll help you choose a DIV, don't sweat that too much and just have lots of fun!
For watching the pros, go gallery at a PDGA tournament. BOOM!

my buddy was a pro, and there are some of the guys i have not met. i have only played morely 2 times, once was +10 the other was +5 i have not played MB. i am not sweating it, i am looking forward to playing! gonna be a fun time! not to mention i cannot wait to watch Marc JArvis play!
 
dang i cant sleep.whispering pines is haunting my dreams! i just lay there with the course running through my head.
 
:woohoo: just played whispering pines. what a beautiful day! took a neighbor that has never played before,he had a great time. this course is BOSS!! ive been changing out my bag lately. right now im working a avair way more than my magnet. and have added a champion panther and a old beat up stingray that ive been crushing these mid-range drives at pines with. wednesday is my next throw day. ill be practicing my putting, approach every evening until then.
 
Believe it or not we have some really awesome courses in north Texas. It used to be a big passion of mine but I've not picked up my discs ever since i entered into sobriety. Idk i guess I'm nervous it would trigger old thought patterns. I work for a city parks department and have been hounding our director to let me design and install a 9 hole course to start off and i think he's close to giving in.

i had not picked up my discs since i was still partying, but i dont find the need to party while i play now. i am playing tomorrow morning.

i have not had a drink or a line since 8/8/03, and had not thrown in 13 years.

played 2 round this morning at Morely field, first round was my best round of disc golf to date. 19 holes -2. 2nd round not as good, 19 holes +4 hit a few trees made a few birdies. great morning for disc golf. go patriots! LOL
 
supposed to meet up with my buddy tomorrow night and practice putting as he has his own basket!

threw two rounds with my wife at whispering pines today,had a great time. i have removed my soft magnet from my bag for good. not sure what im doing about a putter but its time to move on.


that little kid is good.
