Maybe, but I can't think how
This is my first experience with T-scorps, thanks to Justaguy for making my weekend!!
The yellow Fatalii has an interesting flavor. As other folks have noted it's a citrus base, but there's another flavor component to it that I can't quite put a label on. It's very pleasant. The heat (for me) was instant. It goes from zero to 60 in about 1.5 seconds and stays there for quite a bit. Blistering is the adjective I'd pick.
I wasn't aware that the reds were T-Scorps when they arrived. They're all over the place in terms of shape, so I thought perhaps they were Bhuts, but I'd also considered the TS possibility.
I've never tasted a TS in the raw before
I was cautious with the TS - snipped a piece off about the size of my middle finger nail (I have big hands!!)....it's a slow heat build compared with the Fatalii "hatchet in the head" heat. But it just keeps on getting hotter and hotter and hotter.....that's some serious pepper right there that !
I could NEVER eat a whole one of these as some of you loons do, never.
Cheers to Justaguy who shall be known henceforth as 'WhatAGuy" !
