A few more from yesterday, Judy's Brown Moruga, Andy's King BOC, Aji Ahuachapan, T-Rex Brown. Also, ate a ripe Tepin X Lemon Drop from @Downriver and that's one of the best tasting peppers yet this season. Can't wait for them all to ripen. I'm going to make hot pepper relish for sub sandwiches 🥪 out of those and the Peppadews

Try to let the Aji Ahuachapan turn completely dark yellow/orange; they will taste much better, (very good actually and not soapy to me👌).

My two cents

Will do, I had been out in the sun all day and forgot what color they were supposed to be. Won't make that mistake again.

Any idea what these may be? They came from an Aji Verde pack of seeds, but definitely didn't look like what they are supposed to. The plant itself does, but looks to have either crossed with something or just be another variety all together.

Kinda resembles the "UFO" pepper I've been seeing on FB recently.

Damn rat bastards! Kill 'em fast, kill 'em all!
Set out seven traps, woke up to 7 kills. All baited with Peppadew slices. I'm going to set them back out tonight. I still can't believe how fast they moved in and just ate everything that wasn't a really hot pepper. They ate all the Aji Ahuachapan, the aji fantasy, Peppadews, most of the Padrons, the sugar rush peach, the dragon's Toe, Aji Verde, and were starting to test the Thai spezzano's. All in the course of like 3 days.

Looks like a nest of mice... Probably still mouselets around.

So I sat and tried to deduct why they moved in to the area even though I hadn't seen any in the area for years. Then I realized, the drip line I put in had basically provided them as oasis in the desert as it's been 100° Fahrenheit or more for more than a month.

Every night they were getting a cool fresh water source, which came with some delicious sweet peppers and a huge grapevine full of sweet grapes to eat and a mess of tangled vines to build a nice safe nest.

So, at the end of the day, I only have my self to blame. Doesn't mean I won't kill every one of those bastards.

Well, it's been a while since I have provided an update because, well nothing much has been going on. I have however managed to keep almost all of my plants alive throughout the summer of nearly every day being over a 100 degrees and almost no rain.

But, the temperature is dropping into the 90's now during the day and 70's at night and most all of my plants have exploded with flowers. I have been a busy bee 🐝 and have been hand pollinating as many as possible before the mosquitoes 🦟 drive me back in the house.

Some of my plants are now growing over the top of my 8ft fence, but haven't produced much. Others have grown all year in 1 gallon pots and have produced like crazy.

Hoping to get one more good haul before it gets too cold.
