Off to a nice start Doug! Where you able to germinate any of those pubes I sent? Those were some older seeds so I'm curious and I know pubes can be stubborn. I had really poor germination rate with many of my seeds this year.

So far I have not had luck with any of them via the Aerogarden or using the ziplock and paper towel method, but I'm going to give them one more shot direct seeding them.

Sucks to hear, I was hoping something might of have popped for you. If you have a good amount of seeds left I'd try germinating them all as a last ditch effort. Anyways looks like you'll have a great season either way. Good luck with your grow!

Just got done seeding 23 more varieties in the Aerogarden. Got a submersible heater today to keep the water temperature up around 80 degrees.

Well, the past couple days have sucked. My other hobby besides growing peppers is my fish tank. Came home from work Thursday to half my 55 gallon tank empty and almost all of that water soaked into my hardwood floors, walls, living room carpet, and bedroom closet carpet.

But, I was able to save the fish, and have a new tank (the other one shattered on the bottom somehow). And, some action on the Aerogarden and the direct seeded batch. Here's the leaderboard:

Aerogarden -
Inca Red Drops, germination
Cabe Merah, germination
Variegatta/Trifetti, germination
Wild Caman Annuum, germination
Tepin Cross Giant Red, germination

Direct seed -
Aji Ahuachapan, germination
Dragon's Toe, hooking
