My sons came out and we grilled , T- bones , and brats , stuffed jalapeños wrapped with bacon , greens beans , then watching some fireworks here on the river , 
Then tomorrow mama and me are going to some friends for grilling and swimming . Not sure whats on the menu .

Crispy grilled chicken skin is almost as good as bacon. Nice job!

well I started out the weekend looking forward to no electrical....(but gotta do some billing...) and wanting to do some cooking for my girlfriends Rockin'OnTheRiver party next weekend. I promised to supply chili for Friday night and B&G for Saturday morning.
AJ's Red Chili recipe has been an inspiration since when it was posted, and now AJ's Back! So I HAD to make some chili for next week's party based on AJ's recipe-
which I did make-
and it tastes really good-
and we are all eating this-
and I made a 3-way-
and now I have to make more chili for the party next weekend cuz we are eating all of what I made for the party!!!!
Side Note- I thing we have a hot sauce problem. It's been no secret we Love DuvallDave's Sweet Spicy Girl hot sauce. But today, I think it hit critical mass where we rounded up 7 open bottles of SSG! 2 bottles in the kitchen, one on the patio table, one on the living room table, and 3 out of the Kid's bedroom. All still have sauce in them.
