Dwarfed Habs

I was given a box of habaneros which are more than a year old, overwintered, but they had only an 2 inches of soil. 54 sad little plants. Originally, it was their germination box but they were forgotten. Most of them are thin, pale, they have only a couple of small leaves - but hey, somehow they made it through the winter in a room. One even has buds...

They are about 10 cm tall. I repotted them into 20 cm pots and they are starting now but understandably very slowly. What do you think what can I realistically expect?

I have seen neglected plants go bonkers when they are given TLC. You could get some very prolific producers of Habs. They are very much worth the effort to save and get a crop out of.

Certainly pinch all buds and let them save their strength for growth. It's hard to kill peppers, even though many people keep trying.
