I did 3 rounds of brushing on sauce at 15 minute intervals then left them an additional 15 minutes after last brush, so 1 hour. Created a perfectly sticky sauce which I love! 
 
4 people said they were the best ribs they had ever had and on my own scale they were about a 6 compared to my best I have made.
