This is what one of my plants produced this year. Doesn't look much like it should. Had a second plant that was huge, cut it down today as it hadn't set a single fruit.

Hmm, I agree, the golden cayenne did exceptionally well. Jalapeños do great too, I've got 5 plants of one called Jalastar, should be on the train from last year, it's doing great. The Mulato Islesno I picked up on the train last year has huge beautiful pods, still waiting to see them ripen though. I have one plant that is supposed to be purple pequin, but obviously isn't, looks more like a shorter cayenne, that has done amazing in terms of production. I'll throw it on the train once it reaches me.
I chucked in a few rocotos on the train last year I believe, growing all this year. I'd recommend the Aji Oro especially, amazing flavour.
