WEll, I was just sitting here thinking and wondered what all you Americans are doing for the 4th of July weekend...I have three full days home alone with my buddy Roscoe...wifes gone to Chicago, no work, no gigs, nothing but pure relaxation and playing around naga island...

please, all be very careful this weekend...

I'm planning on being blown up with some fireworks..... or drowning myself with beer....whichever comes first...mwwahahahahaha
 
Beer is also on my agenda for this weekend...matter of fact, I am going to pop a top of Busch right now.... roflmao....gonna be a good day...

I only spent one 4th of july in the US - way back in 1992. On Long Island or Lon Gisland as the locals say. I was amazed by two things:

1: I was told that fireworks was actually illegal!
2: The amount of fireworks!
 
Probably just gonna raise a toast to those beautiful treasonous bastards and our Declaration of Independence and sit out on my porch waiting for one of the idiots in my neighborhood to blow his hands off with fireworks.
 
I am already well on my way. Started off the day at my favorite local pub for a few beers and a couple of Blackberry brandys. Now having a Mai Tai and a couple of cold cut sandwiches. I am then off to pick up a couple of ingredients for my WINNING jerk entry. I plan on spending most of the weekend at home since I have been away most of the last week. Dogfishhead will be the beers of choice this weekend.

Phtt....bragging about the win before it happens..FAIL!

Feeling a little swine flu coming on so not sure about tomorrow yet. I probably am feeling the after effects of the last throwdown which I most definitely overloaded on pork!

Just got back from the hippy joint with some throwdown wham whams and zuzu's. I feel like crap. The ebola swine U-235 virus that's creeping up on me is effecting my judgement too...I only bought one bottle of Stone IPA.

OK, wtf is a "Texas Busch"? Brewed in TX or something? Florida Busch I'm reeeal familiar with. $8.98 / 18-pack more often than not. I'm on the light version right now.

I'm in there AJ. I'll be posting late most likely. Smoker will be going in T-minus 1 hour from now. Then spending quality time with a Les Paul...changing strings but switching over to a top wrap on the tail piece and purteeng the gal up a bit. Maybe I'll post a pic of her too!

I picked up my 18-pack of PBR already, so I should be set.

Made soem mighty fine homemade wine coolers with a bottle of *gasp* Gallo Zinfindel and some apple/blueberry/pomagrannte juice on ice.

Awesome coolers for this heat. :D

Yay, they fixed teh A/C..so I can cook without dying in here. Woot!
 
Unfortunately, I have to work all weekend. But on my off times, I plan on having some fun with my grill and do some BBQing. My wife and daughter are also out of town, so it is just me. I wish I had a faithful dog like Roscoe to keep me company.
