For my Project I will do something similar to this

this way everyone that would want to share their data on the I.D. card will be list in the pepper varieties, with their growing location if given.
And to start the my Database I have the permission to use the one create by the U.K. Chile Head

I don't know php, and it's more divergent from all the languages that I am familiar with, so I wouldn't know where to begin there, I'm afraid ...

the pepper almanac is a great idea. Would be interesting to see how seemingly similar varieties grow at different rates or respond in various ways depending on the treatment they get.

Juanitos has set a wiki site up & I've done some work on it as well (data entry- the real work was all his). Not sure when he wants to roll it out but I think it'll be a pretty useful tool. Looking forward to it!

yeah i've got most all the site done, i'm just converting to new database tables to make it faster and easier to query..
