I can personally vouch for the awesomeness of Scovie's muddled stuff.  Can't call it what he calls it here on the forum (trying to keep it family friendly ;) )  One of those 3 frosty glasses was MINE!  Score!
I like a good Bloody Mary, but for some reason, I can NOT make a decent Bloody Mary to save my life!  I've tried and tried, but I just can't get it. I do enjoy a good Mary made by Jerret, Buzz, and a few others~~~
 
My Bro-in-outlaw Buzz uses pickle juice in our Christmas Morning Bloody Marys and they taste AWESOME!  The OJ Mimosas made by my Sis-in-law are also aswecome.    But, as good as the BMs and Mimosas are, that's only at Christmas....every other year or so..... :mope:

While in Belize (Caye Caulker) we went to a restaurant called Habaneros -- quite buzzed after happy hour. Crap, there was an hour wait. Returned drunk off our asses. Anyway, their signature drink is a habanero martini. Of course I'm all over it. This will be at or past drink #11 for the night (happy hour was two for one...the better half thought it would be a good idea to share... I did not.)
 
So, I ask the poor waitress what they do with the hab. They "pierce it" and drop it in. Screw that. I said cut it in half. She was like "ohh no too hot!".. I persisted. The GF had hers pierced, atta girl. Was so stoked. Martinis came. They dirtied it up with frikkin olive juice. Uuuuugh. Terrible. I guzzled both. Finished 1/2 my plate. Announced to the waitress I was hammered and we staggered out. Rest of the night is a blur. But!! There were photos! Here is one I remember not, and the GFs martini before I gulped the nasty mess:

I just had a great idea for another reason for us to get together and party! I will TEACH YOU HOW TO MAKE AWESOME BLOODY MARY'S!

muddle the jap and lime in a shaker, add tequila and ice. shake the crap out of it, strain and serve in a frozen glass. :cheers:
