Food Dehydrator - Recommendations Please

Can anyone reccommend a quality Food Dehydrator?

Been successfully sun drying this summer, but will be needing something more as fall approaches :)

I have an Excalibur and would recommend it to any one who is serious about drying foods. mine runs almost 24/7 this time of year and it is awesome. Then in the winter months, I usually use it to make jerky. The model I have has 10 racks and a thermostat to regulate the heat. I opted not to spend the extra money for the model with a timer and now wish that I, only for simplification purposes.

Just remember, you get what you pay for. There are cheaper dehydrators out there, but in my opinion, this one beats them all, hands down.

I got an 8 tray Excalibur with the thermostat and timer, I think it's pretty good. mind you I've only had it a couple of weeks so far.

Made some jerky and dried some apples so far.

I have a nine tray excalibur that does the job...timer and temp control...
