food-bev FRESH JALAPENOS

Checking the stores for Mucho Nacho today. I didnt see them listed anymore on Bonnies website but HD has them listed. They have always produced good hot flavorful jalas for me. Not a single failure in 3 years. My NuMex Orange Spice seedlings are almost too large for the window sill now. I got 5 really nice ones ready for planting.

My local grower didnt grow any Chichimeca this year. He went with Jalafuego instead. :( Those were another solid producer of larger hot jalapenos. Plants got massive too. Zapotec were screaming hot jalas and solid producers. Pods are just not very large.

I would rank Mucho Nacho as one of the better jalas for poppers.

I have 5 Mucho Nachos growing.  Original seed source Reimers.  I've also got Biker Billy's, Farmer's Markets, Lemon Spices, Orange Spices, Primaveras, Vaqueros, Travelers and Zapotecs going.  We'll start hardening later in the week and plant out 9 May WX permitting.
