Just about to finish work today and get a call from my partner, she is in a right mess trying to tell me something.
I was able to decipher a few words like, my name and ummm they and well thats about it, took her a few seconds to calmdown to be able to talk.

After i figured out what she was saying i realised that indeed, we must vacate in three months time.
I dont know what it is like where you are from but over here if you overstay your lease you enter into a "verbal aggrement" with your agent and they at any time can evict you with ninety days notice.

You may think im pissed off or similar but im the exact opposite, i see this as a blessing in disguise or good luck if you will. You see now we are in a two bedroom ground leval apartment with limited space in general. About the only good part about it is that the rent is cheap. I see this as the perfect opportunity to move onto greener pastures so to speak. I want to find a place with heaps of space to grow my babies and be able to have my dog live with me again.

This is where you guys come in, i need all the prayers, positive karma, meditation, emos cutting themselves etc i can get as the rental market over here is pretty slim. Around one percent vacancy if you believe real estates.

Any other have stories like this or similar that are ongoing and would like the issue to come to a happy conclusion?
 
Every dark cloud has a silver lining - or so they tell me. I've never experienced the silver lining part. But prayers and positive karma are headed your way!
 
90-days is pretty good, they can get away with just 30.

My last move was on a 30-day notice, and I found out the week I was going in for surgery on my ankle - Girlie ended up having to organise and do most of the move on her own.
 
You got the right attitude, that's a perfect start!

Two years ago we were kicked out of our place while on a lease because the owners sold the apartment. At the time I was so pissed off because it was a great place! Utterly needless though because whatta ya know.... as it turns out, I love this place even more! :D

I have a friend that got a 60 day notice. He was always on time with rent and such until that notice. He lived there rent free for those 2 months and put that into the security and first month at his new place which he still loves(and pays rent early every month).

Be happy it wasn't after plant out if you plant in the ground and not pots.
