Well, it is Friday the 13th in the evening and I am bored so I thought I would entertain myself with my camera and post a few shots....

Here is a peek inside the "tent" in the greenhouse...plants look like they are loving this 73F degree "closed" environment in the greenhouse since the high has been 41F for the past 60 hours outside...

and a view from the other end....

and a view of the oldest plants I have...Fataliis, Bhuts, Nagas, Dorsets...

this plant is grown from seed I harvested in December from a "Trini" 7 Pot...it is my pick for the prettiest plant today...

***probably will change tomorrow***

AJ, those in the first set of pics look huge and gorgeous. You mentioned in the PM about tomato size how big are your toms right now? Are they all still in the 72's?

thanks Dale...

yup, still in the 72s...in the last picture, the second and third tray back from the front right are tomatos...they are about 3" tall, with a few up to 4 inches...I am sure they will have a tremendous burst of growth when I transplant them this weekend....there are 100 of them begging for "root freedom"...

Happy Friday the 13th back to ya AJ. Good to hear that you were able to keep all those plants cozy and warm thru this latest cold spell. Feels like winter here again. Fatalli looking good but I think I may have you again, I've seen a big jump being outside this week. My favorite plants by leaf shape this year are my Bih Jolokia. Happy transplanting over the weekend, all I have left is one tray of Tabasco, Serrano, and Jalapenos. Lookin good buddy, spring is just a month away.:onfire:

thanks all...I just don't believe how much pleasure I get from raising these plants...

have a great evening, it's time for me to snooze...later all...

AJ,

You have this growing thing down to a science and qualify as a "mad Scientist" in that no one seems able to match you. I'm jealous but I keep reminding myself - he's from the south, he's from the south, he's from the south!

But seriously, I think getting plants outside, under sunlight, is the key. Too bad you didn't keep a chart (with pix of course!) of plants started at the same time with some put in the GH and others left in your growrage.

Mike

That looks great AJ i wish i was able to have half the plants you do. Oh well ya gotta work with what you got. Should be fun transplanting those huh?

That "Trini" 7 Pot is indeed perfect. Very nice. How are you keeping it so warm in there AJ? I must have missed that somewhere. It got so cold here, I had to bring my seedlings back in the house and they are now happier.

thanks again all..

I am using an old electric heater..

It is a "Markel" brand...I have no idea how old this heater is...my father got them at a garage sale many many years ago...

I am using the fan behind it to "distribute" the heat in the 4 X 16 area and all are run thru a remote bulb theromstat...the sensor for the thermostat is hanging at the top of the plants...the thermostat is set on 80F, so the plant tops are at 80 and the bottom of the containers is 73...the remote temperature sensor is at the bottom of the plants...
