Garlic and chili infused oil - crockpot

Put some smashed garlic cloves (up to a whole head) with dried or fresh chilis and a large amount of neutral oil and set the crockpot on warm/low for 12-36 hours with the lid on. you can get creative with what else to add. You may want to cook it a little higher at the end without the lid to make sure any liquid in garlic or anything else has evaporated out.

Your kitchen will smell wonderful (or like you are making VX gas, but don't we like that kind of thing?), the crockpot will keep temps low enough to extract ALL the heat and garlic flavor without burning. Your choice to strain or leave together when finished.
