Tom

HEhe I'm nowhere near a professional but I do tie all my own flies :) Tied the one that caught that permit.. an epoxy shrimp pattern. Nothin better than catching a trophy(photo) fish like that on your own creation is there?

Nothing beats a fish on your own fly!! Heck I got
so good at it Iworked in a fly shop for 5 years teaching tying,
casting, etc etc etc :):lol:The worst thing about working in the shop teaching, tying, etc etc was that when I went fishing
and people who came in the shop or who after talking on stream found out I worked in a shop
it started being like work :lol:heck I just got back from a trip
up north in michigan this past wednesday, tuesday night up there
I fell back into the routine(shop closed 3 yrs ago) but It
felt like yesterday

Crappie are fun to catch....geez...you guys are lucky...but nothing beats a Kentucky Panfish with some good ol' Kentucky Gentleman Bourbon Hot Sauce poured all over it
