Nice pull G, and I love the vid! The plants seem to like it under the shade netting a lot. Your Douglahs look a bit pointy to me but I'm sure they taste fine. I was especially impressed with your White Habs and Yellow 7-pots. If you ever make Jamaican Jerk, try the Yellow 7s in that... 2 pods in a batch is about right for a kilo to a kilo and a half of meat. Great job!

i was worried about the douglah too. they look distinctly bhut like. cut one open and they dont smell like a bhut, despite the shape

but, i watched a few videos of the douglah strain available from pepperlover, and saw they were pretty similar. i thought they were gonna be rounder and flatter.

i did a review of the yellow 7 earlier. watch this space. the aroma almost made me puke because its just crazy overwhelming! after the initial whack its very enjoyable.

White habs are killer. amazing plant!

shde net was definitely a great $3 investment! they love it under there!

That review of the Yellow 7 was brilliant G! I notice that if you cook them, they level out quite a bit and aren't as intense up front. I made puree with my whole crop last year and figured that a level tablespoon was roughly the equivalent of a whole pod. Keep up the good work!

Nice review George! I have noticed the aroma of most chinense are quite up in your face.

So my question is, how was the aftermath? lol.

its been a while!

Plants not looking as good recetly thanks to so much rain

Had another typhoon yesterday night. Some strong gusts.

My veranda is even better protected than I thought. I put plants against the wall, but didn't wrap them in netting this time. Not a scratch!

Well, not quite. Discovered all sorts of caterpillars discovered my garden. Need to get the neem oil out again.

Also with the wife complaining there's too many chillies in the freezer, I got myself a new toy.

Season is winding down now and the last few chillies on the plants are ripening just in time.

Filmost and I had the pleasure of meeting Neil Smith in Tokyo on friday, which was pretty damn awesome!

Haven't updated this grow log for ages. got married properly recently which means very little time the past few months.
Plants are looking weak due to chronic rain, but theres a fair amount of pods out there ripening. thinking i might possibly do some bonchi over winters.

I still have some reviews i havent edited yet, which i will release periodically.

Cheers!

this is me jealous of your amazing life in japan. I was thinking of saving to go to tokyo though sometime ^_^

OH MY GOD! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME. I might have to get this, let me call my japanese friend to see if she'd go with me

I got your msg and replied lol. Keep your eyes peeled, you can actually find quite a few deals from time to time. Look on Asia specific airlines and partners of the major US airlines and you can usually snag a pretty good deal.
