+1 on that! They look an awful lot like a Butch T. to me, and those were my hottest peppers last year. Drive on!
the difference is.. the butch T my wife said "kawaii chinko chan!" *cute little penis" the primo she said "kowaii!" *scary!"

it is gonna be hot, but growing alongsde 7 pot brown and brown moruga, i feel its bark is worse than its bite
just to back my wife up, the butch t look like a cartoon cock and balls for the first week or so.. two lobes with a bulge underneath.

Very cool pod porn G! It's obvious the chiles like where you have them now. :)

It's true... the Butch T. has a taste like it came from the folks at Dow Chemical... hot as blazes, but not all that pleasant by itself. That's why I dry and grind the pods and stir them into my powder blends. Romy6 is growing some 7-pot Lava that looks like a good bet to replace them if I can find some seeds. Cheers!

Gotta love pod porn when its wet n wild! plants love rainy season, i dont. i have pods on all plants but white bhut and fatalii. generally speaking letting them do their own thing and not worrying too much this year and it seems to pay off! bigger pots and morning sun is doing them good!

shade nets up next week. rainy season will finish soon and its time for summer!

i think you can get a tastier heat source for your powder. ive been impressed with the flavour on douglah and 7 pot powder. plenty of heat there! douglah sure are prolific too!

Warm and humid days are already here very early. Which is helping the growing season a lot!

I found some 100% neem oil. Been diluting a teaspoon in warm water with a few drops of dish soap and then adding cold water.

II've been spraying plants for a few days and it's really helping beat the aphids.
I just don't like the smell, at all! ;)

My Fatalii that seemed to take forever to start to grow is now racing ahead

Decided to add some variety. There's a goya (bitter melon) and two different cucumbers.

Watermelons and melons not thrive in pots. You lose time.

Would need a pot of 1 cubic meter to make them thrive.

But seriously. That plant really is gorgeous! How's that variety taste / burn? I need to read more about that one.
haha thanks!

Watch this space, I'll be doing a video review soon!

Cucumbers maybe reap any. But you need 20 liter pot.
Melon and watermelon, there will be no results...

The experience would prove, Go ahead. I'll keep his advances.

Tip: transplant to larger pots, minimum 20L (or 7 gallons). The Cucurbitaceae need much volume

cucumber are doing pretty well and im getting good crops.

im not growing melon (i cant stand melon!) im growing bitter melon, which typically is grown in pots far smaller than i have there.
cheers for the advice on pot size. maybe next year! they are doing well for what i want this year

one of the astronauts up on the ISS took this pic of the super typhoon that's gonna hit Japan. scary!
i have wind proofing netting for plants, but unless this slows down a bit i have no choice but to bring all plants indoors. the winds in okinawa are insane!

;-D at least you can bring yours in! I don't have enough indoor space for all mine. I may bring in the two or three I am really interested in, and move the rest to a partial wind block. hopefully things die down a bit before they hit us though. **knock on wood**

Make space! I had plants ontop of the toaster oven and two in the bath tub last year when typhoon hit ;)

Preparing for tomorrow with 'windproof' netting. Lessens the wind at least..
II'm wrapping two plants per sheet and preventing leafs flapping about.

Still some work to do tomorrow unless it gets so severe they need to be inside

Best of luck with the storm! Your plants, pictures and pods look amazing.
Thanks a lot!

And Cheers for the support guys!
Japanese weather poses my biggest problem this year. Plants are a definite improvement on last year, but mother nature could make things tricky if the mood takes.
