Anyone else see this yet? What are your thoughts?

I watched it last night and I've got to say i thoroughly enjoyed it. Is it unrealistic and over the top? Absolutely. But that's the way it's supposed to be! It stuck pretty in line with the premise from the comics and cartoons. One interesting thing to note is that "GI JOE" isn't comprised of Real American Heroes, in the movie they are made up of the elites of several nations, similar to a Rainbow Six type dealy but with cooler gear. The CG was awesome, similar to Iron Man.

It was an ok movie, but I didnt think Transformers 2 was nearly as good as the first one. It just wasn't my kind of movie.

not too happy about it...but I kind of expected that. new action movies that they try to make "kid" friendly at the same time never end up good. Or at least, they're turning out very repetitive.
