Got this F1 seed in a trade. Pods are ripe in this pic.
Did anyone else grow these out?

Is it just me or do other folk have trouble figuring out when fruit is ripe when it is a green variety? I mainly have the challenge with German green tomato. Wife says you can tell by feel but I am at a complete loss.

Yeah, it sort of does. Green, grassy, earthy taste but no nasty bitterness. I did a small test however.
