Hello everyone. I recently bought some bhut jolokia at my local supermarket for about $1 per pepper. The peppers were really good but I figured it would be more economical to grow them myself, and I stumbled onto this forum googling how to grow them. I planted about 75 seeds that I scraped out of the fresh peppers about 2 weeks ago, thinking most of them wouldn't make it, but to my surprise pretty much all of them have sprouted. Hopefully at least a couple of them don't die in the Vegas heat. Actually we have had a really mild summer, the rest of the country stole our heat this year LOL, so it shouldn't be too bad.
Anyway I really like the forums so far. Glad to see there is a community of people who love spicy food as much as I do!
