Greetings from the UK

Evening all, my name is Matt and I'm a chemistry student...I've always had an obsession with hot food and have been growing chillies on and off for a few years now.

I thought it would be wise for me to get involved with a forum and after perusing the net I found you guys :)
After having a good look around the forum; whilst waiting for my account to be validated, I was quite pleased with the 'community spirit'...people swapping seeds etc but I guess that's what forums are about!

Anyway, I look forward to swapping ideas with many of you and I am particularly interested in making my own hot sauces, so any recipes to get the ball rolling would be much appreciated :P

And yes, Happy Easter to you all!

countryman. This forum is really helpful and fun. What are you growing this year?

All the best
Daz

Haven't actually got anything growing this year, but I'm thinking of picking up some seeds tomorrow... although it's almost a tad late to be sowing them!

Could you recommend anything that would be okay to get going in the next couple of days?

Hi matty what part of the uk are you based?

As for planting seeds I'd forget it this year as you are way too late, start looking round garden centres for plants, or even give matt simpson a shout at simpsons seeds as he might have something a bit better than you'd find elsewhere

Hello dave, I'm from Leicester in the Midlands...however due to me being a student I also live in Hull for 31 weeks of the year! What about yourself?

Yeah I suppose that it wouldn't be a bad idea to get hold of a plant and go from there.

Just south of bristol but scottish born and bred, yea your best best on growing your own fruits this season is getting plants, but do still hunt down seeds for next year
