Try boiling them for 2 ~ 3 minutes.  This really helps to loosen the shell and stimulate early, rapid growth.

I use my kitchen mallet,Pound the seeds as if your making a tenderloin,This loosens the membrane so there is no resistance during germination.

Me and Hybrid Mode 01 cut are seeds in half, gives us twice as many, more likely to germinate!

Since my beds are in the condition of the top photo.I have decided to lay my newly acquired seeds(thanks terry)on a 8 x 11 photo of their soon to be new home in slightly warmer conditions,Hope this gets them off to a good start.
