So winner will be tallest plant from base of plant to highest point . Reguardless to how you grow hydro, container or inground measure from top to bottom containers do not count .

I am confused. How are you folks getting seeds? I just did a google search and found one place that listed it as a C. annuum...

Snow helps with germination by keeping the ground warmer than the air.

Water sprouts with bleach to prevent mold early on.

I am in!

Last years completely failed to thrive btw. I think it was over watered. Grew to about 10in then shrank away to nothingness.

I do have a few questions about one of my hair brained schemes to run by the judges as well... muahahahah!!!

Another helpful tip!

After the bleach soak, sow the seeds in pure Miracle Gro, instead of wimpy potting soil!

It even says right on the package. When you use it, your seeds will germinate within 12-15 minutes!
