My lone seedling barely looks like a pepper plant... I don't have much confidence in it. However, I have 22 seeds in the soil waiting to germinate in ultra premium germination media. It will be 2 weeks since I sowed them on Saturday.

I culled my extras yesterday and gave them their first dose of fertilizer. I think these are the slowest growing pepper plants I've ever planted. They do seem to have picked up a bit in the last two weeks or so.
Ok this years growdown has not been up to par . We do apologize. Guess we are going to change things up a bit . Everyone pic a pepper plant . Any variety and any medium and use that as your growdown plant . Only stipulations are
1. Plant cannot be older than 2 months
2. You must use some proof of life so we know it's legit and present time
3. You must be an original contestant .
4. Only one plant per contestant
Please post all the specifications so we can judge accordingly . What type of pepper plant it is , And when the plant was started .
GO !!!!
We will also give whomever grows the largest Peruvian Serlano a prize as well

Is it two months from the time the seed was sown, or from when the seed hooked?
I ask because my youngest plant was sown on Feb 10th (over two months ago) but didn't hook until Feb 28th (less than two months ago).
(p.s. I'm still patiently waiting for the Peruvian Serlanos to hook....)

So just for clarity.... we can pick any pepper that was started after Early-Mid Feb? No matter how tall it is currently? If so then I have my pepper... it is a Holy Mole Pasilla Pepper. The seeds were planted on Feb 14th along with the original Aji Christal seeds. I will re-pot it immediately and post a pic!!!
Sounds good don't forget to add 75 cents to the pic for proof of life . You can just tape it to the side of the container or set on the top soil . Or whatever just add POLNoah Yates said:

If there are some standouts from this year's experiment, this could also be a good way to find candidate varieties for future growdowns.
