You & me brutha. I sent Malarky and Dragonsfire and you seed from the same pack. Malarky had two pop, so he killed one. Not sure how Neil's are doing, but mine are waiting for what some might call The Last Minute. Seeds seem to like to do that to me.

 
I got a pack from Trade Winds after the fact so if they don't go I'll send some out for a retry.

Humidity domes come off as soon as I see anything break the surface. Otherwise you're just asking for dampening off.

This pic was taken under those pesky purplish LED lights, but trust me, there is virtually NO green on this little guy. So far my only candidate. I don't think I've ever birthed a chlorophyll-free seedling.....

Oh, I'm not worried this one will survive, but BOY! Do I love whining and complaining! There is a small area of green on the inside where the leaves meet, so the plant is producing chlorophyll, just a bit late. I wonder if the artificial light is a factor...

I vote for Large Orange Thai. I think it will grow anywhere and give an even shot across the board. Actually, any annuum will do.

Yeah well, I got the 'nerd's number, don'tchaknow. Ever since he convinced me that soaking the seeds in rubbing alcohol as soon as they pop a tail I figured that any advice he gives, only do half!
