I love those spiders.  People around here call them Banana spiders.  They're not aggressive at all and control the madness around the garden :)

I've heard them called that as well. I like watching them! We usually don't really start seeing them until Sept-Oct when the mornings start getting cooler.

Amazing plant Rich! A credit to your skills ;)

We have those spiders here year round here and they get quite large. Thanks for finally putting a name to them. I just called them wood spiders. :shh:

I remember when I saw one for the first time on my patio.  I started prepping the flamethrower and then read online that they're garden buddies. Since then we've had a very nice relationship :)  Well, except once or twice when they spun a web over my doorway and I walked into it and screamed like a little girl lol.

Finally my very first ripe lemon drop!  That really took ages!

I ate it right after weighing it. Taste was great and it was much less hot than I expected. But I must admit that I removed seeds and placenta before eating it! :D

You're one ahead of me.... :mope:

Mine has begun to lose leaves wholesale. New growth is fine and flowering and pod-setting continues, but I think a 5 gallon pot is just. Not. Enough. Too late to repot too, I'd lose the pods I got.

Getting a heck of an education tho!!
