Growing hot peppers in an Aerogarden

Been a while since my last update...
Had to take out 3 plants and buy a extended arm , but now the flowering has started on the Naga and the Trinidad !

Hopefully next post will have some peppers growing..

Yepp, a
Naga morich
Trinidad scoropion
and a yellow 7 pod still "live" in the garden. Tried to take one out but it is impossible, the roots are all tangled together ...

Are you going to tranplant those? Looks like that garden has enough room for one plant.

If you don't mind my asking, from whence did you get the Aerogarden and the Chilli Grow stations? If you can link them, I'd appreciate it

Tried to take one out but it is impossible, the roots are all tangled together ...

The same thing happened with the plants I started in my Aerogarden 3 last year. I ended up taking the advice of the local hydroponic shop owner and cutting them apart with a razor blade.

Is it possible to transplant from something like the AeroGarden to soil once they get large enough or would that shock them too much??

I wouldnt recommend it lol! Esp since pepper plants are particular about being transplated.

so it took like 4 months for your plants to start flowering? What nutes are you using? Very nice looking plants

After getting ALOT of flowerdrops I did some reading up and switched to ghe nutrition.
One week later my first pepper show itself, a Naga Morich..
Why Oh Why didn´t I switch a couple of weeks ago..

The size of my 3 plants are quite ridicules for the Aerogarden, and for my office =)

They do grow quite quickly when given what they need. Those things are really impressive.
