Growing with CFL's?

Sorry I've been spamming this forum with my dumb questions, but I sure have had a lot as I've been researching some more. I've read that CFL's are really good for growing, but I read that with LED's you need different colors, so is that the case with CFL's?

We've all been there guy... You might want to check out Omri's "Light 101" thread. No sense re-inventing the wheel...
