breeding Guides to pollinating and selective breeding peppers?

Hello,

Does anyone know a good comprehensive guide on these topics? Or some beginning material.

Mainly I want to know the difference between male and female flowers, best approaches to cross pollinating etc.

Peppers have "perfect flowers" .. all pepper flowers have both male and female parts.. the article above is very good.. or anything you can find on cross breeding tomatoes applies as well.

That is good,

Going by the cross table at the bottom, could you say in order of best to worst you want:

HF (highly fertile)
NG (normal)
PF (partial fertile)
EC (embryo, does this mean you need to help 'synthesise' the embryo?)
IV (not viable)

I see, the above article indeed was helpful I now understand a bit more of male/female flowers (or both in this case)

thanks :)
