Look at different stores around you for "Russian Standard". I know out here Bevmo sells it. It is hands down the best tasting Vodka I've ever had. I was turned onto it by a bunch of Russian guys I met who say it is the only "real" Vodka available, and all that any one they know drinks.
They have Regular and a "Platinum" version. The regular version tastes a lot better to me, where as the platinum has a very clean rubbing alcohol taste just like a lot of other high end Vodkas. It doesn't have the distinct flavor that the original version does.
I've use it several times with a bit of puree'd orange Hab and sometimes a tiny bit of puree'd mango mixed in, and then poured over ice.
This has always been preceded by, as well as followed by a good number of shots. The best part about Russian Standard, is the price. A big bottle of the original type is ~$24 here in Az.
