Habanero and apple puree?

I had a bunch of apples that I needed to use before they go bad...decided to experiment.  Has anyone tried this before?
 
about 15 habaneros
2 granny smith apples, cored and chopped
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 cup lime juice from concentrate
1 tsp sea salt
 
food process to a puree, reduce for 20 minutes on medium heat and can
 
it tastes amazing, I'm gunna use it as a rub and give the other one to my guinea pig at work
makes two jars this size

Cilantro is tough to get into sauces and keep it looking good, especially with a light colored sauce with apples.  Other than that, all types of fruits work well with chiles.  Great job to use 'em up and make a sauce.  I can see the flavors working...
