Habanero mango sauce - just made yesterday

Just made this hot sauce yesterday and man was it awesome. It has a nice slow burn. Tried it on fish yesterday and even on some ice cream! Next time I might add a couple more habaneros but then that might eliminate my some from being able to have it. Recipe is below. Here is the link to the recipe on my blog.

thanks! I cannot believe I had never found this site! I am actually very excited and looking forward to learning and sharing techniques and recipes! I saw your habanero sauce that you had bought bottles for them. Is it an online supplier? I have been wanting to get some but looking for the best place to pick them up.

welcome to the forum, blackpeppercorn-

That's a great looking sauce. Thanks for sharing.

There are several threads about bottle suppliers. Try the search function or browse through the Food Business Forum/bottling-packaging-marketing section.

Hope you enjoy THP!

I made this tonight, and it's even better than it looks... if that's possible. It's got a sweet-and-sour vibe, and it's damned tasty.

I followed the recipe with the exception of using 10 orange habs instead of three. The recipe handled the increase very well. (I hope my colon will.)

:welcome:to the forum......next time , same recipe...just try some pear flavored white balsamic vinegar-little more expensive, but......

habsicles......

Looks great, nice start! I made a roasted hab, mango, tequila using basically the same ingredients as Doc different method though. (in the other sauce section, question on pressure canning thread) I used 15 habs and it's so nice and rounded out flavors. I can't stay out of it. But then that's what it's for isn't it.
