Don't fall asleep with the ice in place. A guy on another forum had a vasectomy and fell asleep with the ice in place and ended up in the hospital with severe frostbite!
 
He still gets teased 8 years later.

No sir, I use ice 15-20 mins and then wait till the next hour. I don't sleep well on hydrocodone anyways as it kind of makes me wired.

I had hernia surgery on Sept. 10th and was scheduled to return to work a week from tomorrow but I just saw the surgeon and with the heavy lifting I do at work sometimes he wants me to rest until Oct. 22nd, so it's 6 weeks off instead of the original four. I am going to go crazy sitting here another three weeks.
