Had to rush my mom to the hospital

I have a friend who had Chron's disease? He STILL is an off-road racer. Had to have 3/4 of his colon remove at age 36?, colostimy bag for a while, surgeons a year or so later created a " J Pouch " to re-attached his intestine to his rectum, all is well now. His truck is in a new desert baja video game cause he won the overall in his class, and came in second to the Grand Champion of All CLASSES for seat time in his vehicle for points and time. That jars the @#$% out of you - anywhere from 250 to 1000's mile of desert at high speeds.

Not that I've noticed, but she's going to weigh herself today to see.

Iggy, if she is not losing weight, then she is at least getting some nutrients from her intestines...thats a good thing...

IGG - sorry to hear that she kinda took another turn for the worst, lets pray that its just a little bad spell & she'll get better soon.
& talking about putting your mom down w/a shotgun, I know you're joking but still that just aint right saying stuff like that, thats your mom you're talking about not a dog.

CC - sorry to hear about your loss of your uncle.

Humor is one of my ways of coping with things. That and my mom's awesome, I'll read this those comments to her later and she'll laugh. ;)

Hey IGG, I wish you all the best bro. Hate to see you going through this, these things are never easy.

ok then, never thought of a mother to consider her kid joking about putting her down with a shotgun to be funny, but who am I to judge right. lets just hope you are joking, by chance does she have a huge life insurance policy ?
lets still hope that she overcomes this spout of illness.

Sounds like she is a fighter IGG so I can't see any of this getting the better of her without a good fight....

Hang in here....

My family and I all wish that your mom pulls through. I also hope that she has the insurance coverage to handle the rip off hospital bills there.

I am the same way. People get really startled at some of the things a joke about, but thats how i roll. My pop was the same way. After his third heart attack(a really, really bad one), he made me go out and procure a bottle of Crown to sneak back into his room in the cardiac unit. When the nurse on duty caught us half in the bag, she jumped our asses and threatened both of us with calling the cops to which my dad replied "So what? Go ahead and call them. We're all adults here. What are they gonna do? Kill me?"

We're trying to hang in there and I'm doing my best to lift her spirits. She's got another doctor's appointment on Monday so we'll see what he says.
