They were ok (Cure) - I saw them on Sonic Temple tour (dragged kicking & screaming by my g/f at the time) and ended up really liking the energy they brought.
But the singer's lost his voice a bit which is a shame since it was a great voice. And they kept saying "thank you, Oakland!" except they were playing in Concord, so that went over like a fart in church every time. And the lead dude just sounded sooooo arrogant - when talking about their new song they were about to play he says, "listen up people - check out our new stuff - no one in the business is rocking as hard as we are right now or making music this good!"
And I was thinking, "hmm...I just saw Silversun Pickups and Janes Addiction - they both rocked harder than anything you've played".
And he kept playing & breaking tambourines - including shattering one into a million pieces at the end of the set. And I just thought, "what a douche - someone's gonna have to clean that shit up"
But they were pretty good other than that.
