Thanks everyone I just saw the thread lol. I travelled from the Modesto Area to Crescent City to go steelhead fishing on the Smith River only to discover that the river was blown out. My brother had a guide lined up for us so we ended up turning right around and headed back home. It was 440 miles one way. But the good thing is we stopped for lunch at the Lost Coast Brewery and the food and drink was fantastic.
