I picked a decent lot of peppers this morning as well. I have a feeling the hurricane is going to be doing a number on my tall pepper plants. I have them secured as well as possible, but there is only so much you can do.
Nice.
How did you secure your pepper plants? I have 2 of them that are like 5 feet tall and I cannot move indoors. I worry that the hurricane will do some big damage.

Staking stuff down, tying to fences, whatever I can do to keep the plants from getting demolished. It's probably going to be futile, since everything is already taking a severe beating from the past 5 days' deluge.

Picked a few peppers today to pickle and make sauce. Also picked my biggest watermelon. Peppers from left to right. Brazillian Starfish Yellow, Brazillian Starfish Red, Bahamian Goat, Caribbean Red, Jimmy Nardellos, Milawe Picante.

More Dreadies headed to the dehydrator. The ripe Big Jims i just dried smell fantastic. I need to dry some green too. Probably great seasoning for a verde sauce and beans.

Also got 4 more Tekne Dolmasi, 1 more Panca (waiting on a bunch to ripen), 3 more Jamaican gold (its still producing), 3 CCN SIchuan (it still has a good amount left) and 3 more Aleppo. Gave everything that looks like it still me yield some peppers got a good shot of the MegaCrop nutrients. Dreadies are about done except a few greeners. One MOA red has some almost ripe and a couple more green. Aleppos still got 1 good pick left in them. All green atm but they should make it in time.

Thought I better pick some more peppers, starting to fall behind a bit. From left to right, Cherry Bombs, Ms. Junies, more Cherry Bombs, (3)Doux d Espagne, (2)Suhauro Big Chili, (1)Cubanelle, and Large Cherry Bombs(these are from my saved seeds over the last 5 years where I keep the seeds from the largest pod each year and replant).
