Has anyone used one of these barrels?

I received one of these as a gift and was curious if anyone has used one of these.  It's called "The Amazing Pepper Barrel".
I have to admit it is quality work.  The fit of the staves is awesome.  It has been charred already inside.  The top doesn't fit tight but maybe that is because I haven't "cured" it yet.  You are supposed to fill with water and let it soak as part of the curing process.

That's awesome Tybo.  I've done something similar with home-brewing and a local distiller's bourbon barrel.  I think it would be awesome for peppers. The staves on mine tightened right up after soaking.

The recipes call for different peppers ranging from jalapeños to ghost.

Speaking of the recipes, I don't think they are right proportion wise.  The one for Ghosts calls for 3lbs and this is only a 1L barrel.  That would be some hot as hell sauce!
