Hay, Yew Texans!!

I drive a Subaru Forester.

My last fill up was a month ago.

I get 30mpg in town.

I still have half a tank of gas.

I have no idea what the price of gas is.

Aye, you Canucks have special gas, don't you...I have a friend in Edmonton, where they squeeze the dinosaurs and make the stuff, who says that, after doing the math, they're paying $2.50/US gallon American.

But Matt's @ 3.69/US. What, they add a lilac scent in Ontario?

Alberta does have cheaper petrol in most cases then the rest of the country since they are a huge producer in oil correct, but we really do not refine much of our oil up here. Most of it is sold to you guys or other country's then we buy it back. This has always caused alot of controversy over the years but I believe its done for political reasons.

As for the always higher prices in my area....I live in a very rural part of Canada and they try and justify the cost for delivery, which does make some sense but has a stink to it as well. From the Ontario border all the way down to Sault ste marie ( Just google map of Ont :) ) I bet our population is barely over 250k and  Its a pretty large area for that amount of people.

About 4 hours west in Winnipeg I think gas is sitting around $1 a liter CDN right now...it was about a month ago anyways last time we were there.
