HBD's 7 Pod Blackening Seasoning

Well guys we just launched our version on a Blackening Seasoning, here is the website description:

Just in time for the Spring/Summer Season, Heartbreaking Dawns is proud to bring you our truly fiery rendition of a down home Blackening Seasoning. Last we year we developed this recipe while incorporating some dried Trinidad 7 Pod powder. The response from those who got their hands on some of that very small batch was phenomenal. This year we've decided to do a larger, yet seasonal, production of HBD's own 7 POD BAYOU BLACK. Some of the elements of this blend that make it a unique Heartbreaking Dawns product is the balance of both black AND white pepper, the subtle notes of a smoked sea salt and the bold high heat of the Trinidad 7 Pod Pepper. On this batch we've acquired the purest 7 Pod powder from our good friend Alabama Jack. Try some classic blackening recipes with chicken, salmon, shrimp or whatever you can dream up!

Ingredients: Thyme, 7 Pod Pepper, Onion, Garlic, Raw Sugar, Smoke Sea Salt, Black and White Pepper, Marjoram, Basil, Nutmeg, Cumin, Celery Seed.

Check it out and let us know what you think!

Oh hells yeah! Why did I not know about this yet? Did I not just order from you like two weeks ago. Damn it! Always the last to know. I want to be in the loop guys!

Jay T , these were literally launched in the wee hours of last night. Don't worry, I'll be certain to hang onto one for you!

Thanks Johnny. I knew you wouldn't forget me. Save it for me along with the other two new bottles for Peppers. BTW, out of 1498 now. Did you send any to Wicked Sauces?

Yep, they've got 'em! I'll have the Bayou Black and definately the Ghost Pepper sauce at Peppers, not sure if we will have run the 3rd by then. I'm hoping yes, but naturally we'll be posting when we do. We'll be doing a lot of cooking this year at PATB, it will be a blast!
