hello all hot pepper lovers

Hi, my name is Cappy and I grow peppers in Charleston, South Carolina. I have enjoyed hot sauces for nearly 30 years, but just began growing 3 years ago. Last year I made my first homemade habanero hot sauce that was better than anything I've tried before. This year is only going to grow more and different peppers. That is where you all come in. I look forward to sharing pepper ideas with any and all of you.

Morning Cappy, welcome from Fort Worth. There is a myriad of information available in these forums. Have fun.

I'm from Cincinnati and I wish you happy growing - it has to beat the crap out of watching political commercials which is what you and Pam will get to do for a week or so!

Only if you actually turn on the TV...which I don't do very often. Like, I go months without turning on the TV. With no TV and mostly NPR, it's rare I'm exposed to a political commercial at all.

Best you've ever had? You'd better send me a gallon or so, just so I can verify your findings.....

Kidding. Or not...if you were going to send the gallon...

Charleston's a gorgeous city (although my wife is still mad at me for not getting accepted to the med school their.....it seems that they only like people from SC). Welcome to the board.

Ya'll are very kind for the replies. I can already tell this is going to be a fun place to just hang out as well as dial in the art of growing peppers. I also love the fact that so many of you pepper heads live on the other side of planet earth yet share the same love of the genus Capsicum. Thanks again and let's grow some peppers.
